Ages 12-15 Youth Yoga Camp: July 27-31 1:30-4:30pm
Empower your 12-15 year old with skills and tools that will last a life-time. These skills are crucial in the development of a healthy young person. Develop physical, mental and emotional strength. With yoga postures, practice sequences and meditation techniques. Build self-awareness and confidence. Practice self-reflection and gratitude. Your tween/teen will enjoy time hanging on our great yoga wall, stretching their muscles and calming their mind. A delicious healthy snack is provided each day.
Our children are growing up in a fast-paced world where busy schedules, school work and too much time on "screens" can take away from the joys of life. Children experience confusion, anxiety and the pressures of our modern world without having the tools and knowing healthy techniques to help them calm down, focus their minds and feel happy in their own body. We believe that nurturing a child's sense of self while developing physical strength, flexibility, poise and mental clarity provide our children with the tools to live healthy and happy lives with positive self-esteem and caring relationships.
Our camps include learning about healthy eating choices and enjoying a snack that will provide nutrients for the body; exploring creativity through yoga postures, journaling and craft projects; practicing mindfulness and "heartfullness" with simple and active meditation techniques; learning how to let go of stress to function better at school work and most importantly learning how to empower their best self!
