Since 2009, Purna Yoga East has proudly offered alignment-based yoga classes in the heart of downtown Clayton. Our approach is inclusive, accessible, and designed to support your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing—for life. Whether you're brand new to yoga, returning after a break, a seasoned practitioner, working with physical limitations or looking for something different, we have a class that’s just right for you.

More Than Yoga – Experience Our Wellness Services.
In addition to our daily yoga classes, we also offer a variety of professional massage therapy services to help you relax and restore. Choose from:
  • Swedish Massage for relaxation and stress relief
  • Trigger Point Therapy for deep tissue release
  • Foot Reflexology for balance and energy flow
  • Floating Hammock Massage – a unique experience that supports the body in mid-air for ultimate relaxation
  • Custom designed sessions to meet your specific therapeutic goals  




New to Yoga? Try Our 5-Week Beginner Basics Series

Are you curious about yoga or looking to start something fun and nourishing for your body and mind? Our Beginner Basics 5-Week Series is the perfect place to begin.
You’ll learn foundational yoga poses, breathing techniques, and alignment principles in a supportive, body-positive environment. These classes are designed for those completely new to yoga or looking to refresh the basics.​

No experience needed. All props are provided!

  • Sunday Mornings: 10:00–11:00 am

​This welcoming workshop is designed to help you build a strong foundation in a supportive, judgment-free environment. You’ll learn the basics of common poses, simple breathing techniques, and what to expect in a typical class. We’ll move at a slower pace with time for questions, individual guidance, and modifications so you can feel comfortable and confident in your body.
No flexibility or prior experience needed — come as you are.

Perfect for those who have never tried yoga, or anyone new to Purna Yoga who would like a guided introduction to the fundamentals. Participants will receive a special discount on our New Student Pass

Yoga to Ease Stress and Anxiety

Yoga to Ease Stress & Anxiety
March 8 | 4:00–6:00 PM
An introduction to simple, practical yogic tools to help manage symptoms of stress and anxiety. Attendees will also receive a discount toward enrollment in our 3-week Yoga to Ease Stress & Anxiety series.

Lately, many of us are carrying more than usual — busy minds, tension in the body, a sense of being on edge or unsettled.
This workshop offers simple, accessible yoga practices to help calm the nervous system and bring you back to a steadier place. Through gentle movement, breath, and rest, you’ll learn tools to ease stress and anxiety and support a greater sense of ease in both body and mind.
No prior yoga experience is needed. Come as you are.

 Flow and Frequency Singing Bowl Classes The Last Sunday of Each Month

Bring your friends, family, guests or come on your own for an end of month special 90-min class featuring gentle movement and relaxing singing bowls. Let the vibrations soothe your nervous system, relax your body deeply and nurture your soul. Cortney will make magical sound with her beautiful bowls and chimes.  No yoga experience necessary to participate. Use your current class.
